Nnesha (nnesha):

if there is x values more than once so relation is not fuction

Nnesha (nnesha):

function**

OpenStudy (danjs):

A function only has one Y value for each X value in the Domain

Nnesha (nnesha):

which two order pair have same x remember first value is x ( x , y) ????

OpenStudy (taylev105):

ok so....

OpenStudy (danjs):

|dw:1419377875730:dw|

OpenStudy (danjs):

Not a function because a goes to x and y

OpenStudy (danjs):

Here you have 3 going to 8 and -6

Nnesha (nnesha):

so.... which two order pair have same x value ????

OpenStudy (danjs):

Put all your x values in the Domain bubble, and Y values in the range bubble. The function draws the lines from the domain to the range. You will see that 3 in the domain has 2 lines, one going to 8 and one to -6

OpenStudy (danjs):

Each one in the domain, should have only one line going to one value in the range
