Find the distance between the points given. (-10, 3) and (-10, 12) 9 15
So again, do you know the distance formula?
sqrt (-10 - 3)^2 + (-10 - 12)^2 ?
@FibonacciChick666
it's x-x and y-y, you mixed the two, but close
try again for me :)
what is 9 and 15 for?
(answer choices is my bet)
oo
is that yuor answer choices/.
Just look at those points, it is a vertical line segment.
Don't strain your brain, look, analyze, and solve.
radar, this person never responds in a useful fashion, this is the like third one of these. I call it answer phishing
I got one actual response
it is seen above
I understand and am saddened, it would seem to be easier to learn the process than do the answer phishing thing. lol
@FibonacciChick666 I am reading a fiction mystery and the serial killer uses that Fibonacci sequence in his "killing game"
Neat user name.
lol nice, which book?
"The Da Vinci Code" by Dan Brown
Two Graves" by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child. The Fibonacci series was the street addresses of Hotels where the serial killer struck. I am at page 296 of a 551 page book. The pattern of the addresses were the series and the FBI agent Pendergast figured it was 21, the only Hotel was at 21 Park Avenue. The previous addresses were 5 East Forty Fifth St, 8 West Fiftieth Street, 13 Central Park West.
That's awesome :D
From coordinates (-10, 3) and (-10, 12) you can see that is vertical line. So length is difference only y: 12-3 = 9 (that is correct result also)
