what do you want to know about this function?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
i need to know what f(2) would be. please
OpenStudy (solomonzelman):
I got disconnected
OpenStudy (solomonzelman):
\(\large\color{black}{ f(x)= \frac{\LARGE 5x-2 }{\LARGE x^2+3} }\)
if you wanted to find f(3),
\(\large\color{black}{ f(3)= \frac{\LARGE 5(3)-2 }{\LARGE (3)^2+3} }\)
\(\large\color{black}{ f(3)= \frac{\LARGE 15-2 }{\LARGE 9+3} }\)
\(\large\color{black}{ f(3)= \frac{\LARGE 13 }{\LARGE 12} }\)
OpenStudy (anonymous):

so plug in 2 for x to find f(2), just like I plugged in 3 for x to find f(3).
OpenStudy (anonymous):
but i guess i could just plus in 2 for that
OpenStudy (anonymous):
thank you!
OpenStudy (solomonzelman):
yes, have to just replace x with a 2, everywhere, instead of f(x), you will have f(2), and instead of all Xs you have 2s
OpenStudy (solomonzelman):
