would my answer be -8/90
you aren't subtracting the top and bottoms. you are subtracting just the tops. you first have to adjust the fractions by multiplying the top and bottom of (one of them or both of them) by some number that would equate the denominators.
in your case you just need to multiply the top and bottom of the first fraction times SOME NUMBER that would make the denominators of both fractions the same. meaning, you have to make the bottom of the first fraction equal to 100, (by multiplying top and bottom by a specific number). (why multiplying top and bottom, as opposed to just multiplying the bottom? so that the value doesn't change)
can you show how to work problem out
