OpenStudy (kainui):

\[\Large 2 \sinh(\ln x)=1\]

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

If I apply the definition of sinh x, I get:

OpenStudy (kainui):

The answer is kind of a special number

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

\[x ^{2}-2x-1=0\] the unique acceptable solution is:

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

\[x=\frac{ 1+\sqrt{5} }{ 2 }\] namely the golden number!!!!!

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

oops the equation is: \[x ^{2}-x-1=0\]
