If the polynomial x^5 − 10^5 can be split as the product of the polynomials x − 10 and a, what is a? a) x^4 - 99,990 b) x^4+10x^3+100x^2+1000x -10,000 c) x^4+10x^3+100x^2+1,000x+10,000 d)x^4+10x^3+100x^2+1000x + 10000/x-10 e)x^4 - 99990/x-10 please help !

Nnesha (nnesha):

ii guess all you have to do divide x^5 -10^5 by x -10

Nnesha (nnesha):

can you divide it by using long division??

Nnesha (nnesha):

or you can do by using synthetic division up to you pleease tell me which one is easy for you :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

neither actually, it's confusing to me

Nnesha (nnesha):

:O then how you will get answer :)???

Nnesha (nnesha):

lets do synthetic i hope its going to be easy :)

Nnesha (nnesha):

first we just have to write coefficient of variable |dw:1419569117965:dw| okay so leading coefficient is one but there are x^4 x^3 and X^2 and x too but there coefficient are zero so thats why there only x^5 - 10^5
