How to find a local extrema in this function? (x-4) / (x+2)^2 All I know is that you have equate the derivative to 0 But I get a false statement if I do it: (x-4)' / (x^2+4x+4)' 1 / 2x+4 = 0 1 = 0 What does that tell me?
