Marie is logging the number of radioactive isotopes she observes every minute. She has determined her function to be f(x) = -4x + 120. Based on the situation above, describe any necessary restrictions to the domain and range. Provide justification for the restrictions. (10 points)

@savannah152426 @sleepyjess HELP please

OpenStudy (dtan5457):

Honestly if your judging just by the function itself: f(x) = -4x + 120. the range and domain is definitely all real numbers.

OpenStudy (dtan5457):

this graph looks like this. where it eventually will touch any infinite number from negative and positive

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but does the isotope every minute part have nothing to do with it

OpenStudy (dtan5457):

hmm, the point is that she uses the function f(x) = -4x + 120 to determine her isotopes. so it's more than likely your going to get your answer just from that function, which is all real numbers

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok do you think that's the only restriction to my domain and range?

@dtran5457

OpenStudy (dtan5457):

if it's all real numbers, that signals that there are NO restrictions what so ever
