Donna teaches dance in groups of five students. She rents a hall for the dance classes at $450 per month. She charges $40 per hour per student. Donna teaches four groups of students, and her net earnings per month are $4,350. Part A: If each student learns dance for the same number of hours, write an equation that can be used to calculate the number of hours each student learns dance in a month.
yeah im stupid :p
Ok first you need to know a couple things, your going to calculate this PLUS the rent of the dance hall so $4800---total per month $40 a student 4800/40=120 hours for the total amount of students there are which is 20 because it says there are 4 groups of 5, 20 students<< 120/20=6 hours a student if you multiply this all up, you will find that this is right because 6 hours times 20 students=120 total hours times $40 per hour=$4800
Does this make sense?
