Calculate the area of the figure. Assume that all angles are right angles. 15,250 square feet 15,750 square feet 16,250 square feet 16,750 square feet
*waiting for figure to be posted*
Well first. You have to realize that those lines mean that those lengths are the same. If there's one line, then all the lines labeled with one line are the same length. 2 lines=same for others labeled with 2 lines
I would calculate this by finding the area of the entire rectangle. Then subtract it by the 2 blank areas.
What's the area of the entire rectangle?

1200
I believe i did that wrong
The height is 100 the length is 200
@Deadroc9 WAT STEPS DID U TAKE
there are 3 50's and 2 25's
@awesomelyqwerty That's cute.
@dtan5457 WYM???

oh lol ....great minds think a like ?!?! ;)
Right ^.
ANYHOW...... The total area is 20,000 including the blank spaces (rectangles)
Find the area of the 2 blank spaces, and subtract them from 20000
Can you do that?
#shade @anyhow
Both rectangles have a height of 75 and length of 25. 75 times 25=1875 per rectangle 1875 times 2=3750 20000-3750 is ________??
@Deadroc9
@dtan5457 it's 16250
yes sir
