list all the values for variable B, even repeats. make sure they're in order from least to greatest
then find the number in the middle
I think this how u do it (2,2) (2,8) (4,3) (5,1) (6,3) (7,5) (8,6) (9,2)
those are the points, yes. you need to list the values for variable b in order from least to greatest
the values of variable B are the second numbers in the points. so for (2,2) the value would be 2
it asks for the median of variable B (ie. the values on the vertical axis) so reading UPWARDS they start 1 2 2 3 3 ....... complete the list (last entry is 8) the median is the middle of the list. However - in this list there are 8 entries - so there is no 'middle' So take the mean of the 2 central values
1,2,2,3,3,5,6,8 middle (3,3)
that is correct for the 'middle' the median is the average of those 2 numbers
