OpenStudy (aripotta):

list all the values for variable B, even repeats. make sure they're in order from least to greatest

OpenStudy (aripotta):

then find the number in the middle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think this how u do it (2,2) (2,8) (4,3) (5,1) (6,3) (7,5) (8,6) (9,2)

OpenStudy (aripotta):

those are the points, yes. you need to list the values for variable b in order from least to greatest

OpenStudy (aripotta):

the values of variable B are the second numbers in the points. so for (2,2) the value would be 2

OpenStudy (mrnood):

it asks for the median of variable B (ie. the values on the vertical axis) so reading UPWARDS they start 1 2 2 3 3 ....... complete the list (last entry is 8) the median is the middle of the list. However - in this list there are 8 entries - so there is no 'middle' So take the mean of the 2 central values

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1,2,2,3,3,5,6,8 middle (3,3)

OpenStudy (mrnood):

that is correct for the 'middle' the median is the average of those 2 numbers
