summary of how DNA replicate 1)DNA Helix unzips to form 2 single strands 2) each strand act as a template for the formation of a new strand 3)Free floating mononucleotides joins with the original strand 4) the mononucleotides are joined together on the new strand by DNA polymerase 5) hydrogen bonds are formed between the BASES of the original and new strand 6) Two DNA molecules are formed each containing a strand from the orginal DNA molecule and a new strand :)
