⦁ Betty and Bianca weigh the same amount and they climb a flight of stairs. Betty climbs the stairs in 30 seconds. Bianca climbs the stairs in 40 seconds. In terms of force, work and power, evaluate which of the three quantities (if any) is greater for Betty or for Bianca? Justify your answers using 3 – 4 complete sentences.
Force and distance moved are the same. Work is therefore same. Betty does it faster ; therefore, has greater power
lets take betty and bianca's weight as 'x', so, the force applied is wight and acceleration (which is changing) so, as well you got force, you can get work by work = force * displacement *(cosine theta) hence stairs, you can take theta as 45 deg. and power as by = work/time... so you get two different values both varying from acceleration... so, betty applied more force for her weight and bianca is lazy... by the way, two points to be noted, 1. what in the world is the "Bianca" 2. and @shopat you luk pretty... take it....
