It isn't that much of a big deal, if you know that the notification is from THIS PARTICULAR POST that you are done with, then just don't view it, if you don't feel like.

and yes, deleting comments will do no good for you if you want to put an end to notifications from specific post-:(

Last year I posted a comment on a post that wouldn't stop getting commented on so I deleted my comments from that post and I never heard from it again. But ya if you need more help just let me know ^_^

But then you would be turning the good and bad (for you) notification together.....
so this is not a super efficient solution
