A short summary about DEEP VEIN THROMBOSIS (DVT)?

Thrombosis simply means formation of \(\bf Thrombus\) which is the medical terminology for blood clot. Deep veins means the veins distal from central body or heart. DVT is a condition in which blood clots are formed in deep veins like in veins of leg. This can cause swelling and in severe conditions the clot may disintegrate and travel to areas like lungs and block the blood flow, a condition called as \(\bf Pulmonary~embolism\)
