Estimate the slope of this line by counting the rise over the run, using any two points on the line. my points are (8.5,25)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and ?

Nnesha (nnesha):

^^^^^^^^^^^^ more information ??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats about it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

uhhh.... well u cant solve it then haha u need two coordinate points

Nnesha (nnesha):

there is estimate the slope of "this "this this line where is line where is graph ??

Nnesha (nnesha):

there should be graph so then you can count rise over run

OpenStudy (danjs):

does it go through the origin ?

OpenStudy (danjs):

you gave one point (8.5 , 25) just need one more point and the slope can be found.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

^^

OpenStudy (danjs):

judging by the wording in the question "This Line", there is a line to look at somewhere.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok how do i count the rise an the run?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i made a graph

OpenStudy (danjs):

start at one point, move sideways a count and up or down a count, then put up down count divided by sideways count

OpenStudy (danjs):

just type in 2 points that are on the graph

Nnesha (nnesha):

look at the graph and see how many step are you going up(rise) or how many step you going right (run) if your line is decreasing then should be negative slope and line is increasing then shuld positive slope
