What benefit can a smoker gain if he/she switches to electronic vapor devices. The 3 ingredients are Vegetable glycerine, nicotine, and natural/artificial flavorings; Compared to tobacco with 100's or 1000's of chemicals as ingredients when smoked?
Sooo..having a VG based vapor will be mainly the Ingredient Vegetable Glycerine. Over all glycerine could possibly help your skin and hair to be a bit smoother (this is a common ingredient in lotions and conditioner), but this is usually when it is used topically. Nitcotine will just lead to a terrible fix-addiction, I can't say there is a benefit to that. And the natural flavoring would not give any nutritional or any other type of benefit really. That favoring to the vapor is just like the favoring to a mint gum, the gum will taste like mint but you are not getting any kind of nutritional benefit you would get from actually eating the mint leaf. Even if it says 'natural' that just means its the favoring is actually from a real mint leaf, but that not give any kind of nutritional benefit unless it was an Essential oil. Vegetable Glycerine could be a problem at some point, but it is different for everyone. I believe if it is taken in smaller portions, it should not be a problem, but here are some possibly side effects; Too much propylene glycol(vegetable Glycerine) can cause excess lactate to build up in the bloodstream and can lead to convulsions and cardiovascular problems, or possibly coma on a serious level. The in take of too much Vegetable glycerins can irritate your respiratory system and gastrointestinal tract. If vegetable glycerin is overly inhaled, it can irritate the mucous membranes in the lungs and cause wheezing, swelling of the tongue and can prone your body to upper respiratory tract infections.
