Cancer cells basically lose the property of contact inhibition and thus start to reproduce in an uncontrolled manner. Now you must be wondering what this big word \(\bf Contact~Inhibition\) means O_O?
Normal somatic cells when grown in culture will become growth inhibited when they encounter another cell or literally speaking touch each other`. \(\sf Contact~inhibition\) is a growth mechanism which functions to keep cells growing into a layer one cell thick (a monolayer). If a cell has plenty of free space, it replicates rapidly and moves freely. This process keeps happening until the cells have divided so many times there is no longer any room in the layer for them to replicate and hence come in contact with each other. At this point, normal cells will stop replicating. Sources I have used: \(\href{http:///en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Contact_inhibition}{\sf Wikipedia/contact~inhibition}\)
i think it's b cux they result in uncontrolled growth
