Discuss the relationship between mitosis and cytokinesis. What would be the result if one happened without the other? I know they have something to do with daughter cells, I think?

pooja195 (pooja195):

cytokinesis are important for the cell growth. mitosis, from what i remembered, is responsible for the division of nucleus of the cell and citokinesis is responsible for the division of cytoplasm of a cell. both of the process are needed in order for the cell to form daughter cells. In other words "Mitosis occurs creating two genetically identical nuclei and cytokinesis completes cell division resulting in the two genetically identical eukaryotic cells.
