Look at this properties chart which I have attached. It shows examples with numbers but one of these properties is the answer to your question.
I can give you a hint. Associative property of ADDITION:(3+2)+4=3+(2+4)
Another hint: the Associative property has to do with GROUPING as shown by @dtan5457

Looks about right. Associative shows that parenthesis do not affect the product or sum of numbers. It can be done with any sort of grouping, you'll get the same answer.
