1 question, how can a triangle be a scale drawing of a rectangle?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh my god i made a mistake IT A RECTANGLE I MADE A TYPO sorry so many things in my head XD

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

ok lol

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

I will give you an example of a scale drawing then see if you can figure it out, ok?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i edited it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

Ok, so if it is 40x25, divide each dimension by 5 for your scale, and you have 8x5.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok do i divide by 5 again? to get a simplified version?

OpenStudy (danjs):

holyyyy mass tagg

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@DanJS I know i know im just desperate i want to get over with it lol ^.^

OpenStudy (danjs):

If you take your time to visualize the problem and learn now, then in the future you will take much less time, and the overall time will be very much less to complete the probs

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im trying to visualize it, i've been trying for a long while thats y i need help. i just cant seem to figure out. i might use proportions or something

OpenStudy (danjs):
