Is zero a solution of -2 < x < 5? yes no

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

please, note that your relation is a double inequality

OpenStudy (kainui):

Well what does it mean to be a solution? It just means that x can have that as a value. So can x be zero? I suggest trying to draw out -2, 5 and then 0 and see if it works.

OpenStudy (jhannybean):

Remember we talked abut disjunctions and conjunctions in your previous question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

kinda

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so no its not a solution ?

OpenStudy (jhannybean):

Use the drawing tool to draw out a number line first :)
