to move or go backward one who goes before another in time one who comes after another in time to move or go forward
Pre- it means before. So, this is telling you that something came before something (prehistoric=before history). Based on what you know of American history, this should be rather self explanatory. George Washington was the first President; John Adams was the second president. Did George Washington go before John Adams?
\(\normalsize\color{blue}{ \rm Predecessor }\) is a person who was before. like: A \(\normalsize\color{green}{ \rm father }\), is \(\normalsize\color{green}{ \rm son's }\) \(\normalsize\color{blue}{ \rm predecessor }\).
makes sense?
@SolomonZelman how do you do the color?
yes thxs:)
I use: `\(\normalsize\color{blue}{ { \rm correct } }\)` / / size color choice and `{\rm ... }` is the font
