Do I need to submit my AP scores to colleges or is self reporting enough?

If they are taking it for credit, they will want to see it reported. Even community colleges want those reported.

Now, lets say SAT or ACT scores. Some colleges will want to have those officially reported but most community colleges won't care. See, that is the difference between an admissions test, like the SAT and ACT, and something they will give credit for, like AP, DSST, or CLEP.
