measure of exterior angle of 100-gon ?

Directrix (directrix):

Is the 100-gon a REGULAR 100-gon?

Directrix (directrix):

@jojor_124

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah it's a regular polygon/100-gon @Directrix

Directrix (directrix):

That's good know and important to post with the question. The sum of the exterior angles, one per vertex, of ANY regular polygon is 360.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its (n-2)180

Directrix (directrix):

A 100-gon has 100 interior angles and 100 exterior angles. So, divide 360 by 100 to get the measure of one exterior angle.

Directrix (directrix):

Because the 100-gon is regular, the interior angles are congruent. The adjacent exterior angles are also congruent. @jojor_124 What is 360 divided by 100 = ? Post what you think, okay?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3.6 , right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or is it 2.7 repeating?

Directrix (directrix):

360/100 = ? Move the decimal point in 360 to the left two slots and that's it.

Directrix (directrix):

>or is it 2.7 repeating? Which numbers did you use to compute this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So 360/100 would equal 3.6, move the decimal points to the left two, it would equal .036, correct? | and I had gotten confused and switched it to 100/360.

Directrix (directrix):

No.
