Determine which ordered pairs are solutions to the inequality, y < 2x - 8. (-4, 0) (5, -10) (3, -6) (10, 5)

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

please note that, the first pair is not a solution, because, if I substitute x=-4, and y=0 into your inequality, I get: 0<2*(-4)-8 0<-16 which is a false statement so, please do the same with the remaining pairs
