We've gotten this request before. We have historically said no, because we want the replies to reflect the accurate progression of the conversation.

@Abhisar , well in that case,you can consider a limited time for that,for example users can only edit their posts for 30 minutes (as an example)

Yes, infact Devs had toyed with the idea of allowing you a 15 second window to edit your reply, or something similar but I am not sure why it was not implemented.
