HELP. Will fan and medal?

OpenStudy (mstv1112):

I attend online school, my grades are great! You have to call your teachers twice each semester to keep in touch and make sure they know you understand everything. I have already done my first call for this semester but not my second so I was put on "Alarm" which is just a reminder that you need to call. Well, im on break now and was planning on calling after the break was up. Today my Attendance status said "Exempt" instead of "Alarm" anyone know what exempt refers to in school?

OpenStudy (freckles):

Maybe I can try to look it up. What is your school name.

OpenStudy (mstv1112):

Connections Academy I emailed my teacher but she won't be able to reply til the breaks over andd I just am worried it's something bad

OpenStudy (freckles):

at the bottom

OpenStudy (freckles):

it sounds like they have 4 attendance statues 1) on track sounds like a good thing so... it kinda sounds like 4) means you have been dropped

OpenStudy (freckles):

I could be wrong

OpenStudy (freckles):

wait i'm wrong

OpenStudy (freckles):

I found another definition for exempt

OpenStudy (freckles):

*Exempt status is rarely used and generally only for students with serious illnesses or other major but temporary issues that prevent them from completing work in a timely manner, but who are expected to be able to catch up and return to “On Track” status prior to the end of the school year. Some students may also have modifications specified in an approved IEP or 504 plan that dictate exempt status.

OpenStudy (freckles):

http://www.connectionsacademy.com/libraries/flvs_documents/school_handbook_general_portion.pdf this comes from page 28 of 78 at the very top

OpenStudy (freckles):

it sounds like this is saying exempt means they expect you will return and be able to finish the course

OpenStudy (freckles):

so that should cheer you up

OpenStudy (mstv1112):

Holy hell I almost died just now, hot damn I've been enrolled in this school for 4 years and have never seen that. I appreciate beyond words you going through and actually finding what applies to my school. @freckles

OpenStudy (mstv1112):

I serious thought I was just dropped

OpenStudy (mstv1112):

Is it possible to have a heart attack at 15

OpenStudy (freckles):

lol. sorry. I did sorta feel like the first description was a little vague. So I do one more search and glad I did. Otherwise you wouldn't get to be happy right now.

OpenStudy (mstv1112):

Know not your fault the first one really did sound like it, and then you dropped the second one on me and I am so happy right now.

OpenStudy (freckles):

I would definitely speak to your teacher after the break though and let her know you are alive and kicking and ready to move on with the class.
