Scientists have found that the time it takes for the pendulum in a grandfather clock to make one compelte swing depends on it's length according to the following formula. T = 6 x square root of L over 10. Where t is the time taken in seconds and L the length of the pendulum in metres. Express this formula in words. How long would it take for the pendulum to make a complete swing if the length were 85cm?
