is can potential energy be affected by mass, or is only height involved?

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

please note that the potential energy is referred to a specific mass. Potential energy E_p of a mass in the earth gravitational field is given by the subsequent formula: \[E _{p}=m*g*h\] where m is the mass of our object, g is gravity, namely g=9.81 m/sec^2, and h is the altitude og our object with respect to the earth surface
