What is the slope of the line?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Nnesha (nnesha):

line increasing or decreasing ??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Since the slope is going down we know it is going to be a negative slope, which is decreasing and is A and B

OpenStudy (utterly_confuzzled):

Take 2 points, for example, (0,3) and (4,0). use the formula for slope, which should be (y1 - y2)/(x1-x2) and go from there. so it should set up pretty simply. |dw:1420231633320:dw|

Now we need to find out if it is A or B. Do that by getting the point of the y-intercept, which is (0,3) and then using rise/run of the slopes that are given to use. -4/3 = rise -4 and run 3 from (0,3) does that point work?
