Ideas on how to resolve prejudice?

So first off, what does prejudice mean?

Merriam Webster says:

an unfair feeling of dislike for a person or group because of race, sex, religion, etc.

a feeling of like or dislike for someone or something especially when it is not reasonable or logical

The main source of prejudice is from people who aren't educated. They judge people, and make biased decisions based of of they're own opinions. Usually these opinions are formed through their own experiences. Say for example, racism. A boy grows up in a family who recently suffered the death of their daughter due to a black male murdering her. Due to the families anger, they are now racist towards the group of blacks in general due to ONE experience they had that traumatized them. They are judging a group based off of one person. Then they raise this boy, telling him that blacks are evil, horrible creatures that one should never befriend. I'm not sure if you know the way humans learn, but basically, we learn from hearing. Our parents, the people who raise us, are the main influence on us. Every word they say influences our diction(word choice), and our actions. So when this boy grows up, he would most likely be racist towards blacks. This is all due to people not being educated as to what that group as a whole is. There are so many black males and females who have done great and amazing things. It's a shame what some people do....

So I believe the main course to solve prejudice, is to educate people. Show them what these groups as a whole are. African Americans, women, etc, are more than what they appear to be to some individuals. Educate them about the amazing things African Americans have done opposed to the wrong things. Educate them as to what the female body has to offer, not physically but mentally. Female brains are designed for speed, they can make educated decisions more quickly, this is probably why they are the one being discriminated against, not the other way around.

I got an idea from this, I am doing it about special needs kids but all of that gave me some ideas.

Oh, that's a good one. Just go on the baseline of how people(bullies) aren't fully educated as to what these special needs kids have, and what they've been through.
