OpenStudy (nincompoop):
got any clue how you should solve this ?
OpenStudy (nincompoop):
like at least try to come up with something so I know what part you're not getting
Miracrown (miracrown):
First we set up the variables
OpenStudy (nincompoop):
I was going to prefer that he exhausts all his knowledge to come up with a solution
OpenStudy (dumbsearch2):
I actually would prefer if @Miracrown could help me come up with a basis for my attempts.

OpenStudy (dumbsearch2):
Shouldn't I do "0.07x + 0.04y = 500" to start off? @Miracrown
OpenStudy (nincompoop):
try to "attempt" so we know what knowledge is lacking
Miracrown (miracrown):
LOL- Ok, so Solution are mixed to make 500 milliliters
So X+Y =500. The other equation balances the amount of salt
we have .07 ml of salt in the first solution
.04ml of salt in the second solution
and .05 times 500 ml of salt in the mixture
Miracrown (miracrown):
You can easily solve the system now
OpenStudy (nincompoop):
you're missing this part 0.05 (500)
