OpenStudy (chunkymonkay):

I really need help with some math!!

OpenStudy (chunkymonkay):

hartnn (hartnn):

you need the slope?

hartnn (hartnn):

or the equation of line ?

OpenStudy (chunkymonkay):

the slope

hartnn (hartnn):

take any 2 points say (2,4) and (3,6) and use the slope formula!

hartnn (hartnn):

\(\Large m =\dfrac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1} \)

OpenStudy (chunkymonkay):

im not sure what you mean

hartnn (hartnn):

(2,4) so \(x_1=2, y_1=4\) (3,6) so \(x_2=3, y_2=6\)

hartnn (hartnn):

now plug those values in slope formula \(\Large m =\dfrac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}\)

OpenStudy (chunkymonkay):

so it would be 2,4 and 3,6

hartnn (hartnn):

\(\Large m =\dfrac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}=\Large \dfrac{6-4}{3-2} =...?\)

OpenStudy (chunkymonkay):

so it would be 2/1 or 1/2

hartnn (hartnn):

6-4 is 2 so numerator is 2 so its 2/1 which equals 2 :)

OpenStudy (chunkymonkay):

okay thank you sooo soo much can you help me with like 4 more

hartnn (hartnn):

welcome ^_^ i can try :) but please ask them in a separate posts! so that others can help you too :)

OpenStudy (chunkymonkay):

okay I will thanks again
