Is the group of words a simple sentence, a compound sentence, or a run-on sentence? Those are very small these are larger.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can someone help me please

OpenStudy (girlover):

this would be called a runon sentence because there are two sentences combined to make one sentence which is inproper use of a sentence. this sentence needs to be separated so your answer will be a runon

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

compound sentence has: + 2 independent clauses + a conjunction (in most cases if not always)

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

run on sentence: + independent clause + subordinate clause + semi-colon
