Which sentence contains an error in subject-verb agreement? 1. A pack of wolves hunts together. 2. The host and hostess takes us on a tour. 3. Cupcakes are my favorite dessert. 4. The boy and girl work together.
1. a pack is one thing/group so it needs a singular verb 2. host and hostess are two subjects/compound and need plural verb 3. cupcakes are more than one cupcake so plural verb 4. boy and girl are compound need a plural verb
So which would be wrong?
Girlover is right we are here to help not give away answers.
well 1 is correct because it has a singular verb which matches the singular subject. 3 is also correct so this leaves you 2 and 4
