Can someone solve this system of equations using elimination? 5x+6y=17 -10x-9y=-43

Yes we can solve it, but the point is for you to do it, with that said, what have you tried?

Some things you can do, Multiply an equation through by a constant number, and add equations together. Multiply one of the equations by a certain number, so that when you add the 2 equations together, one of the variables goes to zero
