How did the settlers who came to the Midwestern U.S. use the land?
-for cattle grazing
-for farming
-for fishing
-for mining

Well, first use process of elimination... How could they use land to fish? A B C- D
They used it for both one and two, underground to be precise was used for mining, but I'm assuming it includes mining too.

Well they couldn't fish cause theirs no large bodies of water
Mining is out cause people who wanted to mine would go to the west
so your only 2 good choices would be A or B
