what is the difference between kinematics and dynamics? A: the spelling B: dynamics includes forces C: kinematics includes forces D: there is no difference I googled the question and can't find anything that is relevant

In kinematics we deal with the motion of an object without including the force which causes it while in dynamics we include force.

Both, Dynamics and kinematics are branches of a broad subject called as Mechanics.

OpenStudy (abhisar):

Kinematics refers to the study of motion of objects, particles etc. in terms calculating of geometry of motion. Here, the nature of the forces or agents responsible for motion is not of any importance and is not considered. Dynamics on the other hand is also the study of motion of objects, but, in this case the nature of forces responsible for causing motion are also described and considered.
