THANK YOU!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ur welcome

OpenStudy (anonymous):

u can ask any doubts i will answer it!!! feel free ask

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'll let u know if its right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

although i think its right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can I ask you one more question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

In a solution of salt and water, if the concentration of salt molecules is greater outside a cell than inside, then water molecules will __________. A. move into the cell, and the cell will shrivel B. move into the cell, and the cell will burst C. move out of the cell, and the cell will shrivel D. move out of the cell, and the cell will burst

OpenStudy (anonymous):

move out of the cell, and the cell will shrivel

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Alright thank you!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sorry, I have to retake the test cuz internet but I'll let u know right away

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (abhisar):

I'll like to inform that the answer to first question given by @sikinder is not correct. Diffusion is the movement of gases from their high concentration to low concentration while osmosis is a term specifically used for the movement of liquid solvents from low concentration solution to high concentration solution across a membrane.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

there osmosis occurs

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Abhisar

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sooooo..... I'm trying to summarize your answer Abhisar, I'm not so sure what it means

OpenStudy (abhisar):

@melrose12345678 Did you know that asking questions from an ongoing Test/Quiz is strictly against our Terms and Conditions. You can read the Terms and Conditions at http://openstudy.com/terms-and-conditions for more information.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OH Oh OH i get it now, I guess, so U mean that Diffusion is High to low while osmosis is low to high?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its more like homework

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and its not a quiz, I'm asking for help, as in trying to understand it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh

OpenStudy (abhisar):

You said yourself that it's a test. Please be back after your test and then I'll be glad to help you make understand things. We can't help you during a test. Thank you \(\huge \ddot \smile\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ummmmm...................... okay
