OpenStudy (vera_ewing):

@wio can you please help me?

OpenStudy (vera_ewing):

@triciaal Please help me!

OpenStudy (triciaal):

you have in general form ax^2 + bx + c =0 what is a*c ? what are the factors of a*c that add up to b also pay attention to the signs

OpenStudy (vera_ewing):

ok so the answer is C right?

OpenStudy (triciaal):

i did not have time to do it I was busy typing the steps to walk you through it so you can learn how to do it

OpenStudy (vera_ewing):

i'm pretty sure it's C... i did the work on paper

OpenStudy (triciaal):

so do you already know how to factor and only need me to check your answer?

OpenStudy (precal):

why not just use the quadratic formula? If you want to just check it, why not just use a graphing calculator and verify the solution on the table or graph?

OpenStudy (vera_ewing):

i don't know how to do that @precal :(

OpenStudy (precal):

OpenStudy (vera_ewing):

@precal thank you! it turns out i was right :)

OpenStudy (precal):

good job now remember we need quadratics for everything in the higher mathematics
