so they start with$2,000 it increases by 10% each year 10% of 2,000 is 200.
the first year they would spend $2,200 then they would add 10% of that which is 2,420 then the next year they would add 10% of that which is 2,662 then you add them all togather 2,000+2,200+2,420+2662=9,282 so the answer is $9,282
