I was thinking having a Desktop Notification System for OpenStudy would seem like a great idea if you tab a lot, like me. You would be able to turn this on or off as well. When you get a notification, a 'ping' will notify that you have gotten a message/notification, and a little pop-up showing what the notification is. You would also be able to change what you would get Desktop Notifications from (like just messages, etc) and all.
^^^^^gooddd idea
@pooja195 :P
totally agreed with this idea I loved it! It saves a ton of time and gives a better way to effectively help :)
I think its Okay!
I have been thinking of this for, who knows how long! XD
I know where you got this idea from xD
But Sammi great idea!
Yes yes xD
I like it :3
It's a good idea and will be really helpful if implemented but as you know that the OS favicon turns red whenever you receive a notification so i think adding just a notification tone like we have in facebook will do the job...
Correct, but sometimes I will be watching Netflix or a video and you won't be able to tell if you got a notification or not, but like I said. You would have the ability to customize it
Yeah. The orange appears but I tend to miss it a lot.
Yep @confluxepic
if i knew a little more about the system.. i would offer to make a compatible system that would allow a notification on your desktip... its a genious idea... really.
yeah same problem ipad, phone, laptop lag too much so i use desktop
That's a really good idea @sammixboo Lots of the time I'm doing something else while waiting for someone to reply, and then like 10 minutes later they're typing "Are you there?"
Wow, @sammixboo WHY ARE YOU SO SMART???
This is a really good idea!
@sammixboo always come up with ideas.
