tips for writing a novel?
Just write....And if you have a good idea, the words will come.
Make sure each paragraph has a nice flow. Also, make sure there is proper grammar. Nothing is worse, than reading a novel, and seeing the wrong version of, "their, there, they're", and other words like that. Another tip, is when using "he/she", make sure the character you're referring to, is obvious. Example of correct use: Katey and Noah are brother and sister. They have an older brother named, Nick. He enjoys spending time with his brother and sister. Example of incorrect use: Katey, Noah, and Nick, are siblings. He enjoys spending time with his brother, and sister. In many young writers, clarification among characters, is a major issue. Readers often get confused. Another common mistake is rushing through, and not giving enough information, because of just plain laziness. Take your time, and REREAD! A good novel takes time. *Don't change point of views while writing.* That is the number one mistake! One more thing, try to refrain from using "you", in your writing, unless you are quoting a character. Good luck! I'd be glad to read your novel, if you like. (:
well id say lots of redbull, snacks, music, and an imagination will start you off purty wellCx

Well i think its done differently. i dont exactly read much, and i know i should but my mom says i have a phobia of it and shes prob right. Anyways I'm having a hard time describing whats going on. My story is being told from the present and its very much in my characters head. i know how to place the dialogue but the problem is describing the world around her
