they are conducting the coefficient test (from coll. alg) but beackwards. (most likely)

okay so easy method to use calculator
and second method to to backward 
synthetic division   take out all coefficients|dw:1420480472105:dw|
for example for first answer choice 
x-1=0  solve this for x then you get 1
and use synthetic division method if you get remainder 0
than that is your  answre
