rejoined in to see the questions marks' actual meaning, if you know what I mean
so 1 is D and 2. is B,right?
I am a little confused about the second question, but 1 is D I am sure.
\(\normalsize\color{royalblue}{ \rm To~do~one's~best}\) is the ultimate goal. lets take it separately: \(\normalsize\color{royalblue}{ \rm To~do~one's~best.}\) Who does? A subject would answer this question. Who recieces the action? An object would answer this question what does it mean to receive the action? That means that there is a noun to which the action refers.
we can for sure exclude A.
I am thinking....
I think it is C. You \(\normalsize\color{royalblue}{ \rm do~best}\). \(\normalsize\color{royalblue}{ \Uparrow}\) verb You do \(\normalsize\color{royalblue}{ \rm one's}\) best.
I am not sure about this though.
I meant word "one's" not C, but D...
1. D (for sure) 2. D (what I think)
thnx
