Some people wear a Star Of David necklace, or a necklace with the Hebrew letter 'chai' meaning life; this is also a way of knowing if someone is Jewish, of course.

edit, religious Jewish women sometimes wear head coverings too, but more often they will wear a wig. But it would be hard for you to know for sure, that's the difficulty.
