A group of friends are hiking on trail Y when they reach an intersection with trail X. Trail X is perpendicular to trail Y. If trail Y has a slope of 1/2, which of the following statements are true? A. Trail X has a positive slope (it runs uphill). B. Trail X is steeper than trail Y. C. Trail X has a negative slope (it runs downhill). D. Trail Y is steeper than trail X.
I can choose more than 1
can you draw a makeshift graph?
I could attempt but there is no graph that goes with it.

so then x would be a negative cause its going from quadrant 2 to 4 and y is going from 3 to 1.
right i think it would look like this because perpendicular lines intersect i couldn't think of how else they would be perpendicular
would it be C and D?
Ik C for sure
Is X steeper then Y?
Not much help........ I would say Y is steeper since they give you the slope.......
Should I go with C and D?
Yup
it was b and C

Now I feel bad...
lol its alright.!
Nooo dont feel bad.
I FAILED!!!!!!!!!!! I got a test back today I made an 108 and I was still not happy. Last test I made a perf score of 110!!
theres still 9 questions left on the test. I need 6 right to pass the test.
ohhh I help
I know I try to get a near perfect score... My performance level is 80% trying to get to 90% then to 100%
yea this test is on graphs and inequalites.
I'm a teachers pet.. I make nothing below 100 on homework and tests... I'm pretty good this year with algebra
sometimes thats good to be... other times not.
yeah... like i said i think ppl in that class hate me
no they probably don't.
