Amy mixes 12 liters of 26% acid solution with a 40% acid solution to make a 33% acid solution. How many liters of 40% solution did she use? 36 liters 12 liters 16 liters 4.8 liters Please help!!!!!!!!

Let x= the number of liters of the 40% solution. So the total amount of solution is 12 liters + x So 12 liters of 26% solution plus a x amount of 40% solution will equal the total amount of solution of 33% solution. 12(.26) + x(.40) = (12+x)(.33) Solve for x.
