OpenStudy (utterly_confuzzled):

Since it's an isosceles triangle, two of the sides have to be even. I'm assuming the two legs are equal since that's how it usually is. ab= 7y-4 cd = 8y-18 That means 7y-4=8y-18 From there you should be able to solve for y.

OpenStudy (adajiamcneal):

so what do i do?

OpenStudy (utterly_confuzzled):

From there you solve for y.|dw:1420496678702:dw|
